I have researched multiple songs whilst looking of the one to feature in my narrative and a few stuck out from the crowd. Mostly within the country and folk genre as the most meaningful lyrics that i believe told a story the songs I have found are :
Concrete Angel- Martina McBride
BriBry- Child
Marie Digby- Miss invisable
All these songs faced topical stories featuring emotional characters that could easily be portraited but i chose Child by BriBry. This tracks the story of a father trying to be there for his son whilst growing up.
